Our Leadership Team
Tim Jones, V.P. and Utilities Project Manager leads our public works team. He has over 30 years of experience in the industry and is essential in trey electric’s growth and success. Hailing from Marion, Iowa, Tim’s favorite part of the job is getting his hands dirty while working in the field. When he’s not leading Trey Electric and the public works team he enjoys spending time outdoors. Boating, fishing, grilling and spending time with his dogs are some of his favorite past times.
Dan Davis, Commercial Estimator and Project Manager brings over 27 years of experience as a commercial electrician with over 20 years in the field running the jobs. His experience comes from many university campus and Hospital projects for the University of Iowa and surrounding area. He has done small jobs to multi million at all levels of the trade. Dan is from and lives in the Coralville area. He enjoys Hawkeye football, time with friends and family and being active outdoors.
Calvin Brown, Traffic Signal Technician worked for the City of Cedar Rapids, Iowa as a Traffic Signal Technician for almost 40 years before retiring in 2016. Cal provides preventive and emergency traffic signal maintenance services to our customers as well as providing technical support to our installation crew during our traffic signal construction projects. He is certified as a Level 3 Traffic Signal Field Technician, a Level 2 Traffic Signal Bench Technician, Traffic Signal Inspector and a Level 2 Roadway Lighting Technician.* Native to the Cedar Rapids area Cal likes spending time with family and friends, sightseeing, and being outdoors.
